PropLake (“PropLake”, “we”, “us”) provides financial consolidation software for real estate operators. This policy explains what information we collect through proplake.net and the PropLake application at app.proplake.net, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Name, email address, and login credentials when an account is created for you, including information received from Google if you sign in with Google.
  • Customer data. Financial, loan, rent roll, and organizational data that your company connects or uploads to PropLake for consolidation and reporting. This data belongs to your company and is processed only to provide the service.
  • Demo requests. Name, company, email, and any message you send through the request form on our website.
  • Usage information. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and sign-in activity, used for security and to keep the service running.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the PropLake service and your account.
  • To respond to demo requests and support questions.
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents and misuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer financial data for advertising or to train models for other customers.

Sign in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google in order to identify your account. We request only the basic profile and email scopes and do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or any other Google data.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run PropLake. Each processes information only as needed to deliver their service to us: Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (the database that holds each client's ledgers), Clerk (authentication), Anthropic (the AI assistant that suggests financial statement layouts from a client's chart of accounts; no tenant or transaction data is sent), Google Workspace (email), Resend (transactional email), and GoDaddy (domain registration).

Retention and security

Account and customer data is retained for as long as your company has an active relationship with PropLake, and deleted or returned on request when that relationship ends. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to personnel who need it to operate the service, and every consolidated figure remains traceable to its source record.

Your choices

You can review or update your account details from within the application, and you can ask us to delete your account or your company’s data by contacting us. Companies that use PropLake control the customer data they connect and can request its export or deletion at any time.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service evolves and will post the new date above when we do. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@proplake.net.
